2011 H1b visa numbers- update

As of June 25^th the total h1b visa petitions received is 33,500 of the total 85,000 and the pace of filing has not picked up this as compared to last year as the concern over unemployment in US and the economy recovery not looking confident enough. Regular h1b cap filings are 23,500 of 65,000 which is majority of total filing. Only 10,000 of the advanced degree category are filled.  We will keep you posted as soon as we have updates.
